This elegant vintage mahogany chest of drawers has been hand painted in Annie Sloan's Paris Grey. Using our artisan ageing technique - we have slightly age distressed it, adding charm and character to the piece. 

With its bow fronted shape and details and the for ever popular characterful Gustavian Country style, this chest of drawers has the wonderful "less is more" simplicity and elegance. It stands proud on raised legs and has four spacious drawers (the top drawers are made to look as one) with ornate Gustavian style drop handles. This piece has been hand crafted by Wylie & Lochhead Ltd, Glasgow (active 1829-1957), most likely in the 1920s. 

It is in a good vintage condition. As with many vintage items, there are some dents, marks etc developed over the years - "imperfections" that we find adds to the charm and character. Please see photos.

As mentioned above, this elegant Gustavian Country style chest of drawers would look wonderful in many areas of your home - bedroom, living room, hallway or why not use it as a basin base in your bathroom etc.
