Unique Rustic Cream Hand Painted Vintage Faux Chest of Drawers Cabinet With Blue Folklore / Chinoiseries Stencil

This faux mahogany chest of drawers started its life as a Hifi cabinet, that now has been hand painted cream in a mix of Annie Sloan's chalk paint. Using our artisan ageing technique, we have aged it, enhancing the rusticness and uniqueness.

If you are looking for a unique, quirky piece of furniture for your home, then this cabinet might be something for you. As mentioned above, this cabinet was a hifi cabinet disguised as a chest of drawers from the 1990s. Instead of painting it in a more traditional style, we decided to take the stencils out and create a piece that has a mix of folklore and chinoiserie. The traditional ornate handles on this creation, adds to the quirkiness. We love it! 

It is in a good vintage condition. As with most vintage items, there are some dents, marks etc developed over the years - "imperfections" that we find adds to the rustic, eclectic charm and character of this cabinet. Please see photos. 

This Boho style faux chest of drawers cabinet would look lovely as a bedside table in your bedroom or as a side cabinet in your living room, hallway etc.
