Grey Hand Painted Sleek Country Style Vintage Chest of Drawers / Basin Base on Raised Legs

This elegant chest of drawers has been hand painted in Annie Sloan's Paris Grey. Using our artisan ageing technique, we have aged distressed it - enhancing the sleek design of this piece.

We love the way this 1950s chest of drawers has a rather unique combination of sleek modern design and country style. It would have started its life as a Chinoiserie styled piece, hense the Chinese sign at the front, and there would have been some Chinese decorations on the legs, that has been removed at some point. It is a solid piece that would look lovely just as well in a contemporary designed home as in a period home.  

It is in a good vintage condition. As with most vintage furniture, there are some marks and dents which, in our opinion, only adds to the character and charm of the piece. Please see photos.

This chest of drawers would be perfect in your bedroom, hallway, living room etc or why not use it as a basin base.
